A total of 1,954 pieces of different types of solid wastes such as plastics, cans, bottles, glass, face masks, and face shields were collected during the river clean-up and brand audit last January 27, 2021 at Panigan-Tamugan Watershed in Baguio District, Davao City .
In partnership with Bantay Bukid volunteers, the Interfacing Development Interventions for Sustainability conducted the river clean-up in celebration with the Zero-Waste Month this January. The brand audit involves counting and documenting the brands found on plastic waste collected during the clean-up to help identify the companies responsible for plastic pollution.
